How is it done? What do you use?

Or tell us about successfully tracking someone down. Did the person give themselves away somehow? Was it worth it?
 
It depends.

It depends a lot on them and how active they are on the internet. Sometimes you can still find bits and pieces otherwise, but it's harder.

Sometimes you can find amazing amounts of stuff you wouldn't expect, sometimes nothing at all.

Why do you want to know and what sort of tracking down are you after here?

Actually, I thought an old & intractable enemy who has harried me over the years might be trying to fuck with me on teh internets, and I was looking for ways to counter, but it turned out to be a whole lot of nothing.

Not to kill my own thread, though. I'd love to hear any tall tracking tales, if anyone's inclined.
 
I'm always tracking down old enemies & allies - for example, should anyone here find the ugly fat scottish git Dalyboy contact me and I'll give you his nude hard-on photos (he gave them to me thinking I was a girl called "Jessica", and I gave him nude photos of my ex... he he he).
