Traitors UK series 4

I watched the first episode. Not sure about the secret traitor twist, keeping information from the viewer seems weird. Will we get flashbacks showing everything they did when they're revealed?
 
Yeah, I'm mixed about the Secret Traitor twist. It makes the show seem less authentic, because they are obviously refilming scenes with Claudia talking to no one anytime she's interacting with the Secret Traitor. But I get their desire to want the audience to feel what it's like to be a Faithful and not know everything that's going on. I just hope they execute this right.

The cast looks decent. Most of the usual types represented. Having a chronic stammerer is new. I'm fascinated by the former Detective Chief Inspector, I just call her Jane Tennison (she even looks like Helen Mirren lol), But I predict she'll be too aggressive at Round Tables, and they'll vote her out just for being annoying lol.

I think Hugo will be gone first among the Traitors, he's amusing himself too much being the life of the party. I think Rachel and Stephen will last longer, because they're driven to find the Secret Traitor so they'll play more carefully.

So they're showing 3 episodes per week? Thurs-Sat this week, and Wed-Fri for the rest of the run. I'm kind of glad, because season 4 of Traitors US starts next week, AND, the new season of Drag Race starts tonight, so my dance card is gonna be full this month lol.
 
Having two brown people out first isn't a great look, can't even blame the public this time
 
I just assumed they passed a law saying minorities have to get the shaft on reality shows.
 
Hugo got buried by his own mouth - what a shock lol.

And now the Secret Traitor twist is done earlier in the season than they probably wanted, lol.

I'm worried that Stephen is in danger now because Ross is after him. Maybe the fact that he voted for Hugo atg roundtable will work in his defense... Rachel is sitting pretty either way.

And now we have to wait till Wednesday to see who the Secret Traitor was...
 
It seemed like a bigger person under the red cloak unless that's just some behinds the scenes person to throw us off.

Be funny if it was Ross.
 
I was thinking that too, I noticed it was a bigger person too...

For some reason I have a hunch it's Reese.
 
Jade (the cute younger girl) is very tall and could be a good surprise traitor. I was thinking it was the Welsh woman though given the suspicious things she keeps saying.

I knew Hugo would go first, but he was really dumb doing the big dramatic "NOOO, NOT BEN!" moment at breakfast.

People on Reddit seem to think Ross and Ellie are secret lovers, but why not just reveal that to the viewer at this point?

Rachel is definitely playing it best.
 
A photo has emerged from one of their social media showing Ross and Ellie stood next to each other at a training event.

I strongly suspect everyone has a secret connection to one other player.

The second envelope that was never opened suggests that either Hugo or Ben or both still have a connection to someone in the house.
 
I don't really get the appeal of the secret connections thing, outside of the initial "she's like a mother to me...BECAUSE SHE LITERALLY IS MY MOTHER" reveal moments. Does it make much of a difference to the game?
