BTW this thread led me to search on the terms "troll" and "kingdom" and I found this nugget:
# Trollrikepolska (The Troll Kingdom Polska)
This tune is one of about 2 dozen surviving tunes composed by Eric Sahlström (1912 -1986), arguably the best nyckelharpa player of this century. He could compose a tune at the drop of a hat, but could forget them just as quickly. "Trollriket" (the Troll Kingdom) was the name of the farm where he lived as a boy.
I'm sure this will make more sense just as soon as I figure out WTF a nuckelharpa is.

Polska - The polska (plural - polskor) is the most common type of tune in Swedish music, and can also be found in Norwegian and Finnish music. It is a dance tune, and is played in 3/4 time. However, it is not played like a waltz. A polska is usually played slower than a waltz. In addition, the waltz places the stress on the first beat of the measure with beats 2 and 3 being lighter. This gives the waltz an up feeling,

On the other hand, the polska places the stress on beats 1 and 3, with beat 2 being lighter -

Foot tapping by the player is allowed, and occurs on beats one and three.

Hmm. I honestly never saw SCTV so I couldn't tell you.
However on the positive side I did find a clip with the first minute or so of the tune which I pretty much dig, though I think it doesn't have quite the malevolent flair of our own good Troll Kingdom:
