Trolling won't last forever

People are getting wiser to trolls. Forums with more activity should have more trolls, and the more that appear, the more likely people are to try and point them out, creating a fad of sorts among the regular posters to be more discerning about others.

When I first joined here all I heard was "dual", as I in was one. That is the nature of this board. Message boards are nothing more than the transmission of words (and sometimes fart-porn) where people anonymously (if they're good) exchange ideas. But as much as people try and fool one another they'll always have idiosyncrasies that make them visible to the trained eye. That said, there will always be trolls and witchhunts for these said trolls as long as there are forums. A sucker is born every minute. And as fast as those people reproduce expect that number to multiply.

It's gotten harder, sure. At Bungie we've gotten tagged with a rep, from both the masses AND the staff there. The staff sees more than three Bungie Trolls there, thread gone. Far too often when we start some shit, some old schooler comes in and says stop trolling. Then everyone knows what's up and the gag is ruined. But some days, just some days, we still manage to have a little mischief and fun without anyone catching on.

It's getting harder. But it's still quite fun, when it works.
