I've evaded doing for about four years. I don't know why I let the new PCP force me into this now.

Just finished drinking 10 oz. of lemon flavored magnesium citrate - yecch. I think I'm going to throw up. Now I've got to drink 3 glasses of water.

Have to do the moviprep stuff tomorrow.

Can't have anything to eat until I'm able to sometime after 10 or so Monday morning.
 
I know.
I don't have a gall bladder and I eat vegan most days so it isn't like I'm ever in need of a laxative. My body is mad and asking, "WTF - whad we do to you?"
 
Nothing to eat since before 6 p.m. yesterday.
Then, lost all of that.
Couldn't have breakfast this morning. Okay.
Can't have lunch now.
I'm starting to get hungry.
Can't eat until tomorrow sometime - maybe brunch if I'm lucky.

I would so very much like a hamburger right about now.
Or some meatballs and spaghetti.
Or a ham sandwich.
Or a bowl of cereal.
Or a slice of apple.
A raisin maybe.
 
I'm starving. This is not good.

I'm going to take a nap until I have to get up and start drinking that other stuff. I bet it is as yucky as that other stuff.

I had to fast for a few days when I went to the hospital as a kid.

After a while, I didn't notice the hunger as much as I did the wooziness.
 
I think I could do the fasting part since I can have all the soda pop and tea I want. It is this nasty stuff I'm having to drink. I've still got about 24 ozs. of this moviprep stuff to get down in the next 45 minutes. Then I have to drink another 16 ozs. of any other approved liquid. I'm nauseous and have a headache. I don't think I'm going to make it.
 
All done before 10 this morning. Some diverticulitis and a couple of polyps. Will know in a couple of weeks the results of the biopsy.

Funny thing about the diverticulitis - the material they gave me said it is caused from not eating enough fiber. I'm a vegetarian about 1/2 the time and I eat at least 24 grams fiber every day. Guess I've got to up that to 30 or 35.
