I cashed the check I got from him on the very minute May rolled into June, and got the money back in my account. Today, he messaged me on Facebook after I didn't pick up his call this morning and told me he needed the money back, lest his rent check bounce and he be evicted. Vae fucking victus.

Sociopath who exploited my passivity and depression to milk me for thousands of dollars in material while lying to me and thinking I didn't understand what was going on. I allowed him to do it because I was lonely and any sort of human contact, even sociopathic, beats nil. After he effectively stole three and a half grand, I put my foot down and demanded 600 back, which I got dated for June 1.

The junkie was Troy, Anthony's one of the other revolving characters in my life. My house is like that: There's a core cast of characters who are often present, recurring characters, and the occasional guest star.

I told him I'd already spent it; he said that his account said it had only cleared this morning. I'm like, well, it registered in my account instantly, I don't know what to tell you. He says, "a deal's a deal, I guess," and logged off.
