Sophomore Slump? WHAT SOPHOMORE SLUMP!!!

The show is almost as good as season one. It's about 98% of season one, which makes it about 1,000% better than most of the dreck currently on the air. Kristen Bell is still phenomenal, Enrico (Keith Mars) Colantoni deserves and Emmy Award, and Jason (Logan Echolls) Dohring is great too.

The last episode featured Charisma Carpenter and Alyson Hannigan! A mini-Buffy Reunion!

Menty, Gagh, I am currently d/l through episode 10, I'll finish and send them to you as a holiday gift. After episode 10, there's a nice 3-week hiatus for me to catch up. You guys will love it, sorry it's taken so long, I know you're both trying to avoid spoilers!!

PLEASE WATCH VERONICA MARS, IT'S INCREDIBLE!!

Did you see seasone one?? Please tell me you watched all of Season One before watching season two!!! I loved Season One so much that I'm going to go out and buy the boxed set, even though I have every episode downloaded to my computer for free.

I hope they let the show continue with the limited amount of viewers it has. There's not a show with better, wittier dialogue on television today.
 
Yep. We watched all of Season One this summer, and are keeping up with Season Two. I'm officially addicted. Is it not drawing a big audience this year? The time slot doesn't exactly help.
 
Actually, the Season Two premiere was one of the highest-rated episodes in the series' short history. I think UPN did an incredibly smart thing in re-running season one over the summer.

HOWEVER...they didn't come close to showing every episode. There wasn't time. I know this because I e-mailed UPN to ask them about it, and I got a very nice woman who apologized but told me they were re-running those eps that were central to the Lily Kane mystery.

Morrighan, did you only watch the eps they re-ran?? If so, I can burn you the entire season one, after I finish Menty, Gagh, and Mandi's discs. Just let me know.

Kristen Bell is beautiful. But DAMN, can she act! I love the show so much, I went out last night and spent $50 on the first season DVDs, just for the extended scenes and extras. I have all the eps for free on my computer, but I wanted to support the show, and collect the seasons in nice editions. I hope this show lasts a long, long time!
 
Cool. I started watching the UPN re-runs, then I realized they were skipping eps when it went from the beginning of the school year to Christmas in the span of one episode.

You know what scene got to me?? When Veronica learns that Keith is her biological father, and she sort of puts her hands to her face and cries. Gets me every time!

How do you like this season so far?? I'm loving it!!
 
It rocks. The new mystery is intriguing, and the pregnancy thing totally surprised me.

I do wish Veronica would get back together with Logan, though. Her current boyfriend is so... bland. She and Logan were a much better fit, IMO, but then I do have a weak spot for bad boys.

Oh, and that scene in the pool hall when the Irish mob guys scared the shit out of her was great! It was a good reminder that, even though she's pretty tough for a teenage girl, she's not made of steel. I think Veronica sometimes overestimates herself.

I'm so glad Wallace is back. :)
