That's an interesting theory, one I'd not heard before! It bears some investigating, that's for sure!

I'm so behind on The Shield. I still have to watch episodes 9-13 from Season 4, and I have two or three from season 5 clogging up my TiVo!

No, I don't think its the case, I just think it's a way of showing, allong with the failing family life that there are always two sides of a person, and you might excel in one, but fail in the other... Just a constant balancing thing...
