Vonage

beer, I want beer
I use a Sprint usb for internet. If I get a dsl router with a usb connection, can I stick my Sprint usb in and hook to vonage?

Yep. They send you a free VoIP though, so its all extra specially good.

You could bridge your USB and Ethernet ports, connecting the voip box to your computer's ethernet... plausibly...

No, it works like this.....you take your wideband in (like what is it Verizon thats supplying your DSL? and run that phone line through the VoIP. Then you connect the Voip to the router. The Voip has three more wideband "ins"..just hook up your sprint to one of those with a usb to wideband adapter.

I have Sprint, usb into a Sony VA10. I have a Vonage router. Normally, I would have a phone line going from the wall to the router, a line going from the router to the CABLE dsl, a line going from the cable to the computer. But, because I have the sprint usb, there is no cable dsl box.

possibly. I was thinking of sticking the sprint into the usb port of a dsl router, then hooking the dsl to my computer the way you would hook a cable dsl. then vonage into the wall and dsl as per instructions.

That would work. My install was all fucked up until I realized I was being dyslexic about what was the router and what was the VoIP. I have a mini lan in the house too, with two desktops a PSP and a laptop, plus the xbox live. It's very efficient.
