Can I have Ops?
The book that I am reading, live posts AS EVENTS HAPPEN.
Obviously full of spoilers, don't read if you want to read the book.
1. Seph (with a Z) appears to be killing people with Lashings of Light, Kneecaps have not been mentioned but we all know where this is going. He has yet to say "HAVE IT" or something like that.
2. Young boy on mission (called Cenn, but I think it's Loktar) is looked after by supreme warrior. Good battle scenes, getting excited about book. Shattered Plains mentioned here - suspect more will come from them!
3. Supreme warrior now slave and having fairly shit time. Enjoying the "other world" descriptions that feel very Pullman. APPROVE. I particularly liked the "fairies" (Spren?)
4. Lots of world description on this chapter about a young noble lady arriving at a town. Not finished the chapter.
Overall really enjoying the ride so far, well written and a keen eye for detail that moves the narrative along.
I have been turned recently (by you lot) to fantasy and am thoroughly enjoying it. I haven't started dressing up or calling myself THORGAMER yet but the books are good so I am sure it is only a matter of time till I wear leather jerkins around the house.
