Web Cam for Laptop vs PC

I Love Cunt

Watch It
So I bought a new cam today for my PC.
I wanted this hot little thing for a laptop-and the sales guy said it was only for a laptop-not PC.
Why is this?
Anyone?

Because he wanted you to buy the more expensive model, obviously. Webcam compatibility has to do with software, not hardware, and the software comes with the cam. The reason it was boxed as "for notebooks" was simply because it was small enough to clip to a notebook lid, no other reason. You should have asked me before you shelled out yer dough. :)

Here's an example:

Logitech QuickCam Pro For Notebooks

If you have a look at the hardware requirements, a notebook isn't actually one of them. If you have a flat panel monitor on your computer that's less than 16mm thick at any edge, same difference. Or (if we wanna be tricky) If you have anything that you can put upright on your desk that's between 6mm and 16mm thick, same difference.

So that is the only requirement? I have a light that I like to clip my cam on. But the cam I bought will suit me just fine. I might need an extension cord tho-I prefer my right side to be shown. ;)
