I hadn't heard from one of my best friends in a few weeks so I finally called her at work. I was happily chirping away about my wedding plans and plans to buy a new house and then she said, "I have some terrible news." I braced myself...Well her former best friend, who I know quite well, just had a baby on February 12 and then on February 24 her husband, who my mom knew, he was head chef at the country club, died of a heart attack.

The Lord works in mysterious ways indeed.

My heart is broken for her and her new baby boy, may her husband rest in peace.

To be honest, I like all of those people. I know them from ExIsle, KHC's defunct board, Mare's defunct board, and other places around the internet. Some of them even post here in one form or another. I like all of them. They are decent, cool people. They also look to me like a group of people who trust and respect each other enough to get together in real life without worries that they will be rejected because they are just average looking people. That is awesome. Don't you wish you had that sort of security and acceptance? Or, is that what you are jealous of?
