Recently joined a reading group. Long story as to why.
Read "Defending Jacob." It was a pretty good read even though the obvious plot devices made it predictable. I'd recommend it.
Then read "The Art of Hearing Heartbeats." While some of the group loved it, I wouldn't recommend it.
Now I'm reading a story about WWII and a heroic guy who was a runner - Louie Zamperini. Not loving this book at all. I'm wondering if a book has to be pretty bad for this group to choose to read it.
What good thing are you reading?
