What if Vger and the whale probe arrived at the same time?

When I was younger, I assumed there were whales *in* the whale probe. But, you know, alien whales. Or ... Humpbacks and the alien whales were the same species. <mind = blown>

But yes, if they both turned up a the same time, they would have a little kiss. Perhaps a snuggle in Earth's orbit. V'Ger would start getting handsy and Whale Probe would be like "let's take it slow". V'Ger would be like "NO - I MUST MERGE WITH YOU".

Suffice to say, V'Ger ends up in the Q continuum on charges of assault.
