Be patient till the last.
sandwich combo you like to eat?

I'll start:

having a hard time selling the idea of Peanut Butter and Onion sandwiches to most people, but I like it.

so am I correct in assuming you won't let me NEAR that combo whilst I'm in England?

I'm presently waiting for my lunch to cook - boiling eggs at the mo' - I actually love egg sandwiches, too.

You assume correctly :D

Eggs - now I like egg sandwiches, egg and cress, egg mayo, egg salad - mmm warm egg sandwiches, fried egg sandwiches :)

Wow.

I've had peanut butter, honey, and banana, but onion? DOOD!

I remember when I was a kid we'd have bologna and cheese and potato chip sandwiches.

Nowadaze, I keep my sandwich standards pretty conservative and classic.

mmmm...wonderful eggs!
Mine even look pretty: lovely brown eggs from the market. Nutritionally I'm sure they're no better than they should be ;) - they just look healthy! :D

Turkey and cheddar on wheat usually from the house. A "Melt" from Subway, toasted, with ham, turkey and bacon on their parmesan bread and Southwest Chipotle sauce, or Roast Beef and provolone, w/green chile, mayo, spicy mustard, onion and tomato from Dion's (a local pizzerria I used to flip pies at.)

that one from Dion's sounds pretty succulant too

Yeah, I don't mind onions on my sandwiches, just not with peanut butter. However, in the interest of improving relations between our countries, I'll try it. :)

I'll let you know.

Uh, is there any tricks I should be aware of, or is it just flat-out onions and peanut butter?

the only trick is making sure no one will be home for, oh, say, three hours....should wear off by then.... ;)

I once had an onion on a burger so powerful that the toothpaste I used afterward almost seemed to disintegrate.
