What is wrong with you?

Are you okay?

Seriously. We could have a well wishes thread.

You know - "I wish you good health."

"I wish you prosperity."

"I wish you all the best."

"I wish you would get that sea faring trip you crave."

"I wish you a protective helmet for when the zombies find your house."

"I wish you a dog that likes you."

etc.

Oh. Nevermind.

*throws away his list, looks in the yellow pages for a licensed therapist*

I wish you a merry Christmas.

Heard anymore about your big decision?

Not really. My names been accepted as a participant for the retreat(January 13th 2013). I'll be more informed about the position to be able to make the big decision after that date.

Then perhaps you should work on your sentence structure. Your operative word was not operating in the capacity that you now imply it was.

Good question, however I personally could care a less. Nothing personal.

You left out the word "not" as in you could NOT care less. When you leave out that word you imply that you have a ways to go before you stop caring. Also I have no idea where you were going with the "a" in there.

Maybe Farry Lynt is Italian?

Wouldn't there have been more a's in there then?

Plus, there would need to be hand gestures.

*fingers curled so tip of index finger touched tip of thumb, hand raised punctuating the air about eye level*

"I could-a not-a cared-a less-a."

And, bellissimo - there would need to be a bellissimo in there.

So, I've had my new bed and fireplace for my bedroom for a couple of weeks now. Haven't been able to find the time to take the stuff out of my bedroom, give it a good cleaning, and then install the new bed and fireplace. Something comes up every day it seems.

When I went to bed last night, I determined I would get up early this morning and haul my old bed to the curb. That way I'd be forced to do what I need to do and get my new bed put up. I woke up with a really bad head cold but I still hauled that old bed out to the curb. That sapped all my energy. I'd really like to go lay down and sleep in today. But, no, I have to clean up my room before I put the new stuff in there. I really do. Maybe I'll go to a hotel and sleep for a few days. Maybe Santa and his elves will come in and clean my room and put the stuff up while I'm gone.

Sleep sounds good. I'm sure I'll crash eventually. Stayed up last night and cleaned the downstairs for about 7 hours last night for our relatives coming early to celebrate Christmas. Thought about sleeping but I was too wired after all that "exercise".

Sounds good. Clean houses are wonderful. All that work made you so tired you couldn't sleep. You'll eventually pass out from exhaustion though. A nap before Christmas would be good.

When are the folks arriving and how long are they staying?

I'm fortunate in that I go to other people's houses now and then come home to mine where it is quiet and calm.

They(my brother, his wife and my autistic nephew) were supposed to be here at 11AM but are now due to arrive between 12-1230PM. They'll stay few hours and then go home later this afternoon/evening.

Things are probably settling down for you about now.

Finished my bedroom. Swept the ceiling, floors, baseboards, and walls. Washed the walls, baseboards, windows, and doors. Cleaned the vents and grates. Cleaned the ceiling fan. Cleaned all the furniture. Cleaned the floors. Cleaned out the chest of drawers and night stand. Washed all the bedding, including the pillows, and all the clothes in the bedroom. Put down two big area rugs I bought a few years ago and stuck in a closet. Put the new bed frame together. The new bed was a trip. Thing was heavy. I had barely opened the second bag and hadn't touched the last bag before it expanded in just a few seconds. Problem was it was upside down. It was really hard to flip the mattress over too. Got it made up. TV, Roku, clock are all set back up. The new electric fireplace is gorgeous too. The cats don't understand why they can't go back in my bedroom. Poor, pathetic things. It is a brand new bed. Haven't had a brand new bed in about 16 years. My Christmas present to myself. Woo Hoo! Love what I got!

Didn't get the two closets cleaned out. That will have to wait for another weekend. Just don't have the energy to do it today and will be too busy until next weekend.

Okay. Shower time and then I'm going to go climb into my brand new bed in my spanking clean room with no cats in it. If you don't see me for a few days it is because I'm unable to move.
