That's right, he was a cop who wanted to marry Kate but she had to run because she's a criminal and it's stupid for criminals to marry cops.

I just remembered it because EVERYONE on the internet said he'd be a recurring character since you don't cast someone like Nathan Fillion just for one episode...and his character was actually completely forgotten.

He was the chef on the plane who lied to kate about hiding the cocoa powder. This then led to a confusion about chocolate and cocaine which the cop from Episode 8 series 5 had stashed his cocaine in his ass.
