If I lay it on its side it stops. Maybe its the fan eh.
So really I am laying on my side with my lap top on its side, reading and typing.
That is fucking pitiful.

My PC used to make noises & the dvd burner would overheat & ruin a burn. I cleaned out the fan inside & that solved my problem. You would not believe how dirty those fans get over time.
 
I opened up the bottom of the lap top and cleaned the fan. The sound seemed to subside for a little while, but it is still defective. I need to get it replaced. Soooooon.
 
i got a usb powered cool tray. blows wind up my laptop's skirt all day
 
no, but its a bad design, and the thing really gets hot. too hot to actually hold on your lap in the summer.

It looks like this one, but it's laptop sized ( this one is for a netbook)

It plugs in to the usb port, and doubles as a USB hub (4ports)

$40 well spent IMO
 
Computer fans are all pieces of shit, especially tiny laptop ones that are difficult to replace. Just learn to live with your lap burner and future inability to produce children.
