I once tricked my little brother while playing SMB and told him that by continuing to shoot fireballs at a specific set of static brick/blocks that he could summon the "brick fairy" and that she would allow him access to something or other. (Something "good!" of course.)

Yeah, so, he just wasted all his time shooting fireballs at these stupid blocks until his time ran out and he died. He was pissed and I laughed my ass off.

Then it was my turn to play again!

He was like 10, and I was 16. Good times!

I love Super Mario. I've still got all the games. I've been palying Mario Kart on my DS recently.

I'll hook up my NES system every once in a while and play it. Although, my favorite is the SMB 2.

Then, there's Yoshi's Island from SN. Heh. Ah, the good old days.

Get a feather and hold the down button while standing on the white blocks in levels one and three -I think- and you will drop behind the scenery and can run to the end and fly up behind the black level end and get a flute that will warp you to any stage.

There is an egg in Mario 1, I forget where, but you go up a white staircase, and there's a spot on one of the up blocks where you can go forever, and then do the thing that Menty's talking about.

I still play Mario games in N64 and Gamecube. Hooked for life. Ironically, I never had an NES, but my young nieces still play Super Mario, Toy Story and Family Feud on it.
