Yes - going on the Carnival Triumph. Going with a small group of about 20 friends from my aqua aerobics class. I booked as a single traveler in a balcony cabin. They gave me a couple hundred off the rate. Considering that boat is getting overhauled because of recent events, it will be the safest boat out there.
Planning on living in shorts and swimsuits with a dress for dinner. Mostly wear just copper jewelry. If they need my copper jewelry, they are welcome to it. Maybe they are bad because they are arthritic. Copper really does help. Maybe it would help them turn their lives around. Go from bandits to saints.

Thanks for the advice. You're right. It is a violent and criminal world out there. I try not to look like a target or go places where I'd be easy pickings. However, as I've had the misfortune to learn throughout my life, people who wish to do persons such as myself harm don't contain themselves to the underbelly of the world. I could lock myself in my room but they'd eventually break in there too. So, out into the world I shall go. And, I'll have a good time as long as possible.

Considering the reputations of cruise ships at this point in time, I strongly advise you to take four, and ONLY four items.
The cloths on your back
Swim fins
Mask/snorkle
life jacket
You will stand at least a reasonable chance of swiming home or, in the event that you are too far from shore, treading water until help arrives.

Plans for the May trip have changed. We're still going to Philadelphia. Looks like we're taking a train to New York after that. Then on to Boston and then Vermont.
We had to alter the plans because of a conference she is speaking at in New York followed up by one she is speaking at in Vermont. So, we're throwing Boston in there for me since I'm the one that likes the historical stuff.
One of these days I'm going to the Hudson River by myself. The people I go with always change my plans of visiting there.
Still going to Seattle and Sequim and the Hoh Rain Forest and then up to Canada. Just not sure when now. The person I'm traveling mostly with right now is planning on living in that area half the year so I'll be out there on occasion once she finds her place.
Have 9 weeks of vacation I need to schedule before I wind up being the only person on staff again and can't get vacation time off. Last time budgets were slashed I didn't get a day off for 5 years. Considering budgets are about to be slashed again, I need to have my time already scheduled and approved or I may not be able to get anymore time off for God knows how long.

I'm glad you can walk again. It is almost spring and the weather is getting lovely - time to go outside and do things with our legs and our feet!
No - new man isn't invited - at least not yet. Year isn't over and plans can always change. I have a balcony cabin booked as a single traveler so it wouldn't be too difficult to get him in even on short notice. However, on the cruise I'm traveling with more than 20 of my pool friends - most of them elderly and most of them very religious. Of course, being scandalous at my age is quite fun. Give them something to talk about.
I wanted to go on the pirate ship in Florida but my travel companion changed those plans. Did get a little plastic pirate sword at the bar on the beach while waiting for the Duck Tour. It can spear an olive - dangerous thing that.
Have you been out shopping for dresses to wear with your heels?

It depends on how many pictures I take that don't have friends and family in them or will identify specific locations where friends and family work and live.
