Wordpress or Blogspot--who likes what???

Setting up a blog very soon. I'd been holding off because I wanted to put it on my own URL, but I just never get around to that so I was just going to jump in and get going; move it later.

It sounded like Wordpress was the way to go for a blog, but I've seen some blogs on Blogspot that I really liked. So does anyone have any preferences? And why?

Well, since it took three days before a Wordforger finally chimed in with an answer, I did some anecdotal research myself, and it seems Wordpress is the way to go. Blogger will get you up and running in a quick and dirty manner, but apparently for not much more work, Wordpress will have you up on your own URL. And since I got an error message on the demo pages for Blogger, that pretty much clinched it. Gotta make the leap and get set up now...

I use Wordpress. Nice, simple to use dashboard and the blogs look nice too.
