I'm not normally one to go bashing boards or making fun, but I am currently being thoroughly entertained at Ex Isle by a HUUUGE argument that has sprung up between former TK'er RobL and some admins and regulars. Apparently there was some verbal sparring somewhere and somebody said "cool it" which launched about a five page thread on the nature of "cool its" the exact definitions and parsed meaning of "cool its" whether or not a "cool it" could be used in a punitive fashion, "cool its" as a legitimate tool of discipline, and etc.

I don't think I've laughed so hard at a thread (actually multiple threads by now, and RobL is in full meltdown, I think he got "warned" which is "cool it" defcon 2, now people are begging him to quit before he gets banned)

Is Ex Isle really that pent up? I've only been there briefly, but WOW!
 
Yeah, they're insane. There's lots of easy trolling to be had there; I encourage you to go at it. ;)
 
I've followed that, too, mainly because I noticed that an Exisler has recently registered here, and I took a look to see what that is about.

Dono, I've witnessed stuff like that on a regular basis for quite a long time. One thing I hope is that this will somehow lead to RobL coming back to TK eventually.
 
I enjoy the ban smoking threads personally. That one chick (can't remember her name) equates us to serial killers. It's funny.

I OWNED Exisle, to the point they very carefully reviewed new memberships. As I don't bother to hide my IP address from them, they block me immediately. PWNed! Fuck, but I had them crying.
 
Well like I said I try not to trash other boards, especially since a few people I like interacting with post there, but there's a couple there that have sticks wedged so tightly up their asses they might put out somebody's eye when those things come shooting out...
 
I'm noticing Luci deftly sidestepped answering a direct question.

Clearly, he's exaggerating about even posting at exisle, let alone "pwning" them.
 
Dangit... I dont remember my password there. Or even if my account still exists. OK, who is there (besides LoP) that I like too much to go poking a stick in the hornets nest?
