Xbox 360: How much is it REALLY worth?

This thing (the entire console) is being sold on eBay right now for over $1000 (minus the games)

Now that the Christmas Rush finally over, how much do you think this thing will be worth by summers end?

My bet is that it won't be worth anything more than $300 max. What do you think? Do you agree/disagree? Explain your decision.

I don't know how much it's going for at retail but I doubt it will drastically drop in price that quickly. Remember Microsoft are making a loss with the console itself. They make their money on all the games people buy for it.

Look at how other consoles in the past have been marked down over time and that will be a good indication.
