I don't WANT a google account.

I hate it when people offer a hosting service (blogs, journals, video/photo cache, etc) for "free" and then switch it on you, sometimes years later.

So much for my v-blogs.

Damn.
 
I thought the Google account was optional. Every time it asks me to sign up for one I choose the "skip it for now" option.
 
I think you can have a non-Google address if you've had one all along, but once you enter a Google/Gmail address they don't let you change it anymore. How stupid.

Even worse, the USA, considered a bastion of capitalism, is socialist in actuality, after all, the American people own the fucking banks and the fucking auto industries. I find it ironic that the CHINKS seek to protect their populace by blocking Google, a site that collects EVERYTHING you do online. There HAVE been talks by the Canadian government about banning them via our ISPs too. Google infringes upon everyone's freedom of privacy, which is why our government is STILL discussing them. Fucking liberals keep interfering. The Chinese don't take crap from the Americans, which is why they blocked Google. 'Save face'? From what, you moron? You are just pissed because China told one of the largest corporations on the planet to go fuck themselves, such that Google tried to take China to court, only to get it up the asshole. That's about as bad as Canada sending your lawyers running back across the border when they tried to sue Canadians for downloading MP3s. TO THIS DAY, it is legal in Canada to do so. This pretty much suggests Canada told the mighty USA to 'go fuck yourselves'.

They finally forced me to sign up for a Google account in order to access Youtube. Wouldn't even authorize the Google account until my password was strong enough. Bastards.
