Those are the Laughing Cavaliers, friends of the late Cyd Cherisse, and wandering Garlic Salesmen of Old Vienna. At weekends they practice motorcycling through flaming hoops, and eat Paella with nothing but cocktail sticks.
 
I was a little suprised about Amanda Ley, that account smelled like a ranter to me.
 
Cyd Charisse was Nana Visitor's aunt, you know...probably why Nana became a dancer as well.
 
It is so touching that he created all those duals and stayed up all night repping me. I mean, I'd perfer the green squares, but if that is all he has to offer at least he was ardent about it. I just love ardour.

Unfortunately, Vicki Lewis from Newsradio was Velma. She sucked sweaty donkey balls and is about 3 feet tall. Her legs were so skinny her dancing shoes looked like ski boots.

But Nana was the shit.
 
By the way, did you know that when you say "Nana" you have to put the accent on the SECOND syllable?

It's Nuh-NAH Visitor, not NAN-nah Visitor. I was shocked myself.

I bet no other Trekkies have unearthed this gem, EVAR.

Was she an Aunt on her ex-husbands side? If so, it would explain Visitor's Mid European appearance.
 
Nana is the daughter of dancers, choreographer Robert Tucker and ballet teacher Nenette Charisse.

I'm not sure of the actual lineage, but I assume they shared a bloodline somehow.
 
Yes. Nico Charisse was Cyd Cherisse's ex-husband and the leader of a dance company who found her as a teenager in Texas. He subsequently married her when she turned 17 (makes you wonder!).

Nenette Charisse was one of Nico Cherisse's siblings. There was 11 of them. I read Charisse's obits last week, you see.

Good chance to see all those beautiful 1940's & 50's photos of her, and those fantastic legs. There was a good quote too, about a story she used to tell. Nico Charisse could always tell if she'd been dancing with Gene Kelly or Fred Astaire. Apparantly, she'd come home scratched & bruised when dancing with Kelly, and without a mark when with Astaire, such was the difference in style of the two men.
