RIP DOG.
She is a pitbull/mastiff cross.

Awwwww.... Cute. That's a good mix too. Pure Mastiffs tend to have problems with their hips later in life. The Pit should help mitigate that.

So, it'll grow up into a big, heavy strong dog that will go nuts an rip apart a child?

isn't it the owners that make a dog vicious, not the breed?

Exactly. Pits and Mastiffs are generally well tempered animals. They can be trained t be vicious, but they aren't that way by nature.

Awwww....what a cutie!

I named her Shadow. she already drew blood on me, she ran up and bit me on the foot.

Stringy and a bit tough to chew. Marinade it well with Lowery's Teriyaki BBQ sauce and smoke it with some hickory chips. It'll take that sinewy toughness out while preserving the flavor.

I'd give it six months, then go with a crock pot. It will just fall off the bone.

Any new pics? Videos? How is the pup?

Cute puppy.

You'll have to buy a new couch!

:D

Some animals/breeds have more of a proclivity to violence than others. Though environment can influence this, it also depends on the physiological make up of the dog's brain which will influence its' "personality."

Also, "trained" may not be the best word for it, as it seems to imply that there is an intent in creating a more vicious animal. Many dogs can become vicious when they are simply neglected, not through malicious intent on the owner's part.
