I LIKE THE TRAILER I finally managed to see it in HD an IT LOOKS GOOD I LIKE RADAGAST IT'S A SHAME HE'S NOT IN IT.
 
He's the money shot. They're saving him for the full trailer next summer.

Considering I don't know the story and there weren't many "omg that's SO AND SO!" bits, it did reel me in. I wasn't sure about some of the new characters, though. The make up doesn't look as well done as usual. I feel like I can see exactly where the actors face ends and the prosthetics begin. *Martin Freeman face*
 
It'll probably look different in the finished film, maybe!

Only complaint I have about the characters is Thorin looks too young and too much like Aragorn...

(This will mean nothing to someone who hasn't read The Hobbit. But really, it's a classic.)
