I want a fucking steak

I went vegan for about a week and a half or so and my body loved it.

This week I am eating all of the meat in the world and my body doesn't love it.

But I just downed some ribs, standing at the counter, like I couldn't even bother to sit down just slowly dipping them into the sauce and chewing at the bone.

Yum.
 
We have a couple top sirloin grass fed waiting to be consumed. Can't decide how to cook them though.

Potatoes and peas.

Later this week I'm going to make sour cream chicken enchiladas New Mexico style.
 
It's been years since I had a good steak. I think the last good steak I ate was at a cigar night....2014? It was $23 and came with frites and a side of garlic aioli. Cooked medium.
 
We had them with eggs for breakfast this morning. Quite delish. We have this Cholula sweet Habanero hot sauce that is awesome on it, and steak and eggs are always so good together.
 
Next time you want an amazing burger, try having a better cut of meat to have ground.

My new favorite is rib eye burger. It's quite different than say "ground chuck" :bigass:
 
Well yes, not for a steady diet. I only eat red meat like that maybe twice a month, but damn do I love me a good burger. And yes, most Wagyu style is ribeye. I got turned onto that from the little butchery right next door to where I live.

This reminds me, I need to send some dollars toward heatonist.com for a pineapple habanero hot sauce.

EDIT TO ADD: I'm no longer writing for vaping mags, since the fuckers I was writing for kept mismanaging the shit out of their businesses. I may, however, enter the smaller but more stable arena of writing for a BBQ-centric publication. We'll see.

Okay, it's Japanese cow, not Russian dog, but the joke wouldn't have worked otherwise. Guess that being the case, it doesn't actually work at all. FUCK YOU, LAUGH ANYWAY! :pissed:
