I forgot that I once went to Chicago

Only found out when I found an old itinary that my mum had kept, admittedly I only changed planes at the airport, but it still counts as a visit.

That's me and London. I had a layover for a couple of hours from New York to Shannon Airport for my Ireland vacation. But I can say I visited London.

You were in Shannon? I flew to that airport when we went to Ireland for my 60th. Spent 3 weeks on the coast. Where did you go? Doolin? we did the Wild Atlantic way all the way up to Ardara.

I was in Chicago long enough to walk around near the airport for a bit.

Not to hijack a thread, but... I went to Ireland for the Millennium, because they cared a lot less about Y2K then Americans did, lol. I spent the first few days in Galway, then did New Years' Eve/Day in Doolin, and then a week in Dublin. In Doolin, I blacked out before midnight on New Year's because everyone kept buying the Yank a drink, lol.

I went to Vancounver, BC once.

They have a train, IN THE SKY!

Was it a monorail?

I hear those things are awfully loud.

In 1994 when I was in Canada staying with my mum's friend we crossed the border to I THINK Michigan though I can't be 100% sure. I bought Donkey Kong 94 for the Game Boy because Game Boy games weren't region locked. Why did I wait until I was in the USA instead of buying it in Canada? I don't know.

In 2000 when I was in Canada (same deal) I looked at Detroit over the Detroit River from Windsor, Ontario. It looked really smoggy and gross. Also went to Niagra Falls and I guess that's nearly America too!

I always wanted to go to the Niagara falls.

I've also changed airports in New York and Philadelphia.

Niagara Falls is opposite Buffalo, NY, where several of my co-worker friends come from. I went up there for the wedding of one of them in the 90s.

There are cities named Niagara Falls on both sides of the border!

I went to California once. Don't need to do that ever again.

Did you get trapped in a tall building with no shoes?

I always wanted to go to the Niagara falls.

It was kind of hard to see the Falls because it was all misty. We went up an observation tower and observed.

I've been to Mogadishu, Somalia. Top that, niggers.
