What if we lied about our age.

All this time?

Well, I turned 18 back in '42 and that's 21 years from now, so...

Age ain't nothing but a number and time between living and death.

That's kinda hypocritical of you, considering the things you've said about my age in the past.

I was actually thinking about this recently. I have a pretty sharp, linear memory so I remember pretty much as far back as being 4 years old.

It was occurring to me that on the internet, we appear to be what we say we are.

Yeah that's around when my memory starts. 4-5 years old. We moved from Long Island to Hoosick Falls when I was 3 but I don't remember it. Same with my brothers dragging me and the Christmas tree around the house when I was 3 years old.

It's weird because I have a good memory for song lyrics, phone numbers, my SSN, my bank and credit card numbers, etc.

"Age is nothing but a number."

Yeah.

A number signifying how old you are.

That's right up there with that "years young" bullshit. Why is everybody seemingly so terrified of telling the truth about getting older? Is hiding from aging supposed to "make it go away" or something? FFS.

I've never lied about my age.

Me neither. Except when signing up for certain sites.
