Make sure you update your damn router

I cant tell you how many hacked routers I have been dealing with since the telecom breaches last year. So many "comcast" and "ATT" IPs coming from areas they doesnt even service.

Make sure you are patching the firmwares on your routers regularly everyone!

My ISP tried to give me a router to use when we signed up for their fiber network. I was like, Nah I got one... works fine... don't need yours that you can control at any time...

Yep. Verizon gave me one but I use my Apple router. Theirs just sits there looking pretty.
