Things you love about Star Trek

He'll outlive us all.

He is The Shat. He is eternal.

He doesn’t believe in the no win scenario.

Seriously though, even if he’s had some work done he looks like he’s ageing backwards. Still sharp as anything as well as looking half his age. Glad he’s cancer free.

Based Shatner.

 Shat is pissed enough that he doesn't get any royalties from the TV show. Can you imagine if they started making new AI episodes?

Kirsten Dunst was Lwaxana Troi's dead daughter (tying the last two posts together.) They should bring her back as the Mirror Universe Troi's Dead Daughter Who Didn't Die In This Universe.

I don't think there's enough botox to pull Marina Sirtis out of mothballs to make a relevant episode.

I'm a cosplay nerd. And I've done a TOS Star Trek costume. I've seen the actual costume at the Las Vegas Hilton and at a mall traveling road show in the '90s. So catching things on TV (after all these years) and seeing this: are eye-openers.

Because the perception of the trousers are that they're black and have a big bell at the bottom. When you actually see them, they're more of a slate grey with sparklies. And the version I saw had very little bell. In fact I've been looking for capri pants that are tailored more for a man to replace the ones I sewed. And over the years I've come to terms with that the tunics were velour. So it was interesting to see in this video that 1) the Season 3 trousers had a pronounced bell at the bottom and 2) they are NOT--emphatically and specifically NOT velour. Also, the Velcro on the side of the phaser and the hip of the costume are neat because I was watching...the one with the dragon cave and noble savage aliens...episode and watched the Shat grab his phaser with an unmistakable Velcro rip and think "dang, that's actually Velcro and not some kind of holster", only to see its actual execution in this video.

I remember he used to guest star in every tv show in the 90s and 2000s.

He was on the Hawaii 5-0 for awhile there more recently but I'd rather bash my nuts with a wooden mallet than sit through another episode of that

in his defense he and chi mcbride have to be the only two guys on that show with their natural hairlines at this point
