I want to smell dark matter


It's been a long time since I read the stories but it feels right and looks like it'll be fun with only puppet dragons.
 
It looks like it will be a lot more fun than House of the Dragon.
 
Maybe they should have done this show first instead of going straight into another incest/dragon/war show.
 
I enjoyed the first episode. Everyone seemed perfectly cast and it effectively set up that the stakes "can this guy who sleeps in a hedge win a tournament?" I liked how it looked like they were about to start playing the same theme music for a third show but then it cut to Dunc shitting behind a tree. Lyonel Baratheon was fun with his antlers and dancing.
 
Second episode was good too. The episodes are short but there was enough satsifying stuff that it didn't feel empty. In fact it felt quite full of characters and humour! I liked that they had a dark-haired Targaryen. The other shows made them all white-haired to avoid confusion or something, so it feels like this show trusts the audience more. The Kingsguard armour looked awesome.

Lyonel continues to be a joy and I bet Tumblr is shipping him and Dunc hard. The kid playing Egg is really good at delivering one liners.

The joust looked really good, much better than in Game of Thrones season 1 (but to be fair that was a long time and lower budget ago.)

Ser Arlan had a really big cock.

Lyonel is my favorite. Egg must be a Targaryen. IMO

I'm sure the mention of missing Targaryen children and Egg acting weird every time the name Targaryen comes up is just a coincidence.
 
I didn't think the missing children were little kids!
 
Third episode continued to be good. All the stuff with Dunk and Egg just hanging out is really sweet. Did they invent sandwiches?

I couldn't remember how quickly it was before Egg revealed himself as Aegon so was a bit surprised it happened this fast. Aerian is another fine addition to the many evil royals of Westeros. How dare he hurt Tanselle's fingers, the jerk.

The show makes me a bit sad in a way because it reminds me what a great writer George was and how he hasn't written anything in fifteen years because he's been stuck on one book.
 
It's very difficult to watch the jousting! I hope that Dunk never actually has to do that. lol
 
It would be a bit of a letdown if he never did after all those scenes...
 
Fourth episode is out already because of The Owl tomorrow and I watched it so SPOILERS if you haven't...

Great episode, definitely the best so far but they've been good and built to this. Dunk's speech at the end and then Baelor riding in with the Game of Thrones theme kicking in was awesome, the kind of uplifting moment they never did in House of The Dragons or late season GOT really! He is a true knight!

Egg crying at the start was sad but then Dunk stood up for him to his uncle and it was happy tears.

I hope Raymun kills his asshole cousin.
 
It's sad Tanselle didn't get to give it to him herself.
