Nah, I seriuously don't care if people love me or not. Its the range at which my "emotions" are. When I'm horny, I'm really really horny, when I'm happy I'm really really happy. I really don't get mad-that part is all an act. Sad-not so much. Hmm on second thought I did go through some sadness. But I just moved and I think things will mellow out soon again.
Quitting smoking every week probably doesn't help either.
 
I absolutely love my new place! I am up in the mountains. No neighbors-well not apartment neighbors anyway. Its beautiful. I wish you all could see it and be here.
 
Are there coyotes up in the mountains? Can you hear them howl? I would love to hear the sound of coyotes (or wolves, for that matter) while lying in my bed and looking up to a full moon.
 
Um, wolves sound freakishly scary....esp as u hear them decent mountain ranges, they sound like hundreds, when there is prolly just a pack or 2.

Coming from a country that doesn't have wolves, I found I had an innate carnal fear of their sounds, but also an interest ;)

I can't believe pple camp where thy live! Gimme snakes and spiders any day ;)

I saw a coyote on my way to work one day. A badger or racoon another day. There are deer and elk up here. The evenings are wonderful when I can see the stars because I am no longer in the city with all the lights.
I am sure the winter commute will be challenging, but I really do love it up here. Its a still a small town atmosphere to, really nice.

It is a freaky sound when camping, but also cool. They rarely come near campsites that I know of so you are usually safe. There are actually probably other animals to be more afraid of like the cougars.
And I can do without spiders.
 
He, snakes ok, spiders - no thanks :D I needed 20 years to overcome my arachnophobia enough to tolerate the little harmless ones living in my apt, but I still draw the line at sharing my bedroll with one of them. ;)
As for wolves - I, too, live in a wolf-free region, so I can't really say if it would freak me out to hear them while not being somewhere safe, but I really, really adore them, so as long as they don't have a chance to confuse me for food, I'd be thrilled to have them living nearby. (I live near mountains, so chances are they will re-settle round here some day.)
 
:D I like them 2, It was just surprising having such carnal fear even tho I knew I was ok.
 
I guess the fear of wolves is imprinted in our collective subconsciousness, so it takes some mental work to get rid of it. Just a theory.
 
LC's right. I'd be more afraid of mountain lions and such-like than wolves. Wolves are essentially dogs and dogs are smart, they know when to stay away. Cats are silent sneaky buggers with zero fear.
