Aaron

The hash questions during BOTS and his bewildered state make things even more awkward. Even he doesn't think he should have won, LOL. The way Emma had to tell him it's alright that he won and that it was okay to be happy about it was telling.

The fact that he shrunk and didn't answer Pete Burns' question face to face also shows that he's not so much evil as he is a weasel, LOL. Did he even hug his kid yet?

Well his kid wasn't there so it would have been hard to. Pete's question was pretty inappropriate and confusing.

I'LL GIVE FULL THOUGHTS ON ALL THE HOUSEMATES TOMORROW, PROBABLY.

Hmph -- Aaron kept gesturing to the audience during his interviews anytime Brian or Emma would bring up the kid, I thought that meant he was there. Oh well.

Well that's how he seemed in his VT, but he admitted himself that his VT was bullshit. He was a hard one to figure out. He was my runaway favourite at first thanks to his quick wit, but as the weeks went on he was involved in too many drama. It didn't seem natural. He probably did do some of it just for the cameras, despite what he says. But you know, watching his reaction to winning and the booing, I think he probably was mostly just being himself and wans't playing the massive game everyone accused him of. I mean, what was his game supposed to be anyway? How did the strops fit in with it. He was a great housemate, just a frustrating one at times. But he certainly made the series (FOR BETTER OR FOR WORSE?) and I don't think anyone can deny he was a worthy winner. Don't know how long he'll stay with Faye but even if they split up in a month or two that doesn't necessarily mean what they had in the house was "fake".

I couldn't help but root for him, even against my better nature in the second half. But even though I'm glad and relieved that he won over Jay, I'm still shocked at how little joy there was for anyone to extract from his victory. I felt cold inside after it was all over.

But there's no denying he was the most compelling character of the bunch. Nobody else in the cast had the layers that he did. He earned the money. I hope he's enjoying it now.

However many weeks in the house and we still don't know who the real Aaron is. That's what makes him interesting, really. He's mysterious.
