According to the site where I found it from, the hole was "fixed" by putting in a couple sponges and duct tape. Looked like "trailer trash" to me. :D
 
Doesn't look like duct tape, it looks like packing tape.

Duct tape isn't clear, although it does come in colors other than gray now ;)

Hey, you know, crazy though... I bet they'd think better of us if you weren't constantly trying to destroy them.

[note: this got aggressive, it isn't all aimed at you Chatty honest. You're a new moderator and probably have nothing to do with Staff attitudes. So don't take it personally.. please]

Of course it is an exaggeration, just as the "All TK'ers are the devil incarnate" is an exaggeration.

Shal giggling in her journal is just not OK. She shouldn't use her journal to snicker, giggle flame, or bait any member no matter how upset she may be. You can all passively sit back and think that is OK, but it's not. I don't care what the rules say.

I get a warning for bringing a moderator's behavior to light. Behavior that can rip a community apart. You can all pretend it's not happening, but it is happening. Hell she doesn't even mask names re G and me. You might not care about that, but it's added to my aggressiveness in challenging moderator actions, especially where she and Corwin are concerned. And I'll bet if it had been something you read about yourself from a moderator, and could never bring up, it would make you'd question things too.

Trust me, I know nothing will be done about it. Shal is Shal and she pretty much will either play the victim or rage about her right's off site. But it is not healthy for the community to let it go on. You're condoning her behavior, and at the same time putting the anger, those kinds of entries engender, into the community.

And you wonder why there is so much complaining? I don't trust a mod who can't see that public remarks like that causes trouble within a community. It is wrong to protect her right to flame members and then let her hide from the consequences behind a rule.

It's wrong, and it's how the OQ got so bad. It got bad with exactly this attitude of entitlement to flame members indiscriminately, because lord knows moderators need to vent. Well if she needs to vent that badly, she needs a vacation.

Daggonit! One of them damn tornaders just ripped through here again an' I think some of my underbritches got mixed in with yours in the swimmin' hole again. :D
