Ah, I see. TY. So you have 2 of the top 3. And if you wanted to create another U4, it would be a matter of giving + to just like 2500 posts? Hm. that doesn't seem to add up.
 
Karma hits used to be worth much, much more than 1 point. It used to dish out rep points based on how long you were registered, and how many posts you had.

That's why a lot of us have multiple-millions of points.

I've no idea how it works now - I think my posreps give out 5 points, but it's 1 for most.

I'd replace it with nothing. It serves no purpose. By all means, have the comments, just no fucking pips or points.
 
No. It just doesn't do anything. It doesn't enhance the board, it makes for cheap amusement, it creates spam in more ways than one (and ALL spam MUST be stopped, right), and it's just plain crap.

Strangely, you always seemed OK to me.

When we have numpties like old Cocksmith Lord here begging for karma, and following wankers like Elrod around from day one, they're right in the firing line.
 
As someone who's been subjected to several of these rampages under a series of screen names, I think the best way to react is to act pissed off and create several threads complaining about Gagh negging you, making impotent threats and absurd demands. In QSF, even.

This tends to extend the rampage, which is kind of funny. And missmanners might pity you and give you back your karma, which is the one thing that seems to sort of piss off gagh.

It should be pretty clear that you're not personally upset and don't attribute real animosity to the negging, though. Because it's meaningless.
