Somehow I missed the cold open-I never heard them say, "Live...."
And I already watched update, that is when I typed that post.
 
I enjoyed the gay fathers the best
the police sketch wasn't bad and the game show was kind of funny.

I guess I just need to get rid of the expectation that every show be "OMG THAT WAS SO FUNNY!" I mean it wasn't as bad as a couple of the recent episodes, and it will never be as good as Lady Gaga, so maybe I'm just in a funk.
I'm going to listen to the SNN and see what they thought.

Oh and Jack Black was really high energy last week too
 
I loved The Critic while it was on, but it ran out of steam after 2 seasons. And then they did some short "webisodes" before streaming was actually a thing, and they were kind of lame.

If they make the humor sharper and more cutting to reflect present day Hollywood, it might be good. But it also might be too cutesy to have any teeth... WE SHALL SEE
