2019 BIG3 draft results: Former NBA No. 1 overall pick Greg Oden, Rockets draftee Royce White among top selections
The BIG3 is set to begin its third season this summer, and the 3-on-3 professional basketball league will be bigger than ever after the addition of four expansion teams -- the Aliens, Bivouac, Enemies, and Triplets -- boosted the total number of teams to 12. The new season tips off on June 22.

UConn is expected to leave the American Athletic Conference and return to the Big East for basketball and other sports in 2020. UConn was an original member of the Big East, beginning in 1979, but went to the American during realignment in 2013.

UConn became one of the best basketball programs in the country during its time in the Big East. The men's program has won four national championships since 1999, the last one coming in 2014

The Huskies women's basketball team has been virtually unchallenged in the American, going 102-0 in the regular season and 18-0 in the league tournament in six years. The Huskies have won three NCAA titles (2014, '15, '16).

No. 2 senior prospect Angel Reese narrows college list to five
Reese, who declined an invitation to try out for the USA Basketball U19 team so she could spend one last summer with her AAU team, has narrowed her college list from 10 to five. She will take her official visits to Maryland, South Carolina, Southern Cal, Syracuse and Tennessee. As a junior last season, she averaged 22.6 points, 4.2 assists, 2.5 blocks and 2.3 steals.
