American idol

Basically, apart from me, only women are posting in this thread.

I bet male TK'ers watch this dumbshit with the same passion as you creatures, but they dare not come to this thread and cheer for their favourite teens lest their internet testosterone withers away.
 
They don't air American Idol here. And even if they did, I would not watch it because I do not support its idea.

Art should by evaluated by art connoisseurs, not Joe Schmoe and Jessica Nobody. Even if there are people with potential on that dumbshit show, they will eventually get sucked into the vortex of the "music industry" and the "show business".
 
Why are people still watching this garbage?

Its time for a hobby besides Simon watching.
 
It is going to be a rough decision after tonight's performances. Luke Menard is still the weakest performer. The rest of them did very well, with some of them really outstanding. Maybe I'd let Chikezie go. He has a good voice but he comes off a little oily to me. I might let little Danny go too. He is adorable and is very promising, but like Friday said, I'm getting a little bored with the gayness.
 
Plus Danny really hasn't had an outstanding performance yet. He can sing, but so far I haven't been impressed.
 
Not surprising Kady and Luke went home. Not too surprised over Danny either - figured it would be him or Chikezee. Thought it would be Ramiele or Amanda instead of the girl that went home. She may be a "second rate Whitney" but she can sing.
 
Won't be long until we are down to the final two and then the season will be over.

I've only watched a few shows in past years. I'd have picked Clay Aiken over Reuben Stoddard. Last year, neither one of the final two were what I would consider an American Idol of any kind. I have no idea who even came close in the other years.

Overall I'm glad I watched American Idol this year. I'd be happy with any of the three remaining to be chosen American Idol. All are good singers and performers. I'd come closer to buying something David Cook recorded. However, I would buy the other two's work as well if I heard something good from them on the radio.

Clay has a new CD out which I need to pick up. What I've heard of it I like. I heard Melinda Doolittle will have a CD out next month. That could be good. She is a fine singer.
 
eloisel: I have Clay's new album, and I'm really enjoying it. It's one of his best, IMO.

Eggs: Thank you soooo much for posting that video. I would have missed it.

Clay going back to teaching would certainly make the staff meetings a lot more interesting. :D
