AMERICANS: explain 'In-N-Out Burger" to me

CaptainWacky

I want to smell dark matter
Do they have the best burgers?

I couldn't tell you, it's more of a West Coast franchise.

I've never been in one. I'm sure it's just a hamburger restaurant that probably has good hamburgers and is famous because there are some in Hollywood? I DON'T KNOW :rwmad:

I believe they go through the digestive tract very quickly. This has made it popular with Americans.

(LOL I CRACKED AN AMERICAN JOKE COS I SAID THEY WERE ALL FAT AND LIKED FAST FOOD HAHAHAHAHA)

We don't have any in the PSNW, but they're just a burger joint. Some people seem to really like them. The one time I had them I didn't see what the big deal was.

They have "secret" menu items I've been told.

In Hollywood, some celebrities can be found going to In 'n' Out Burger after the Oscars, instead of one of the fancy balls.

Mostly the losers.

OK, maybe one winner...

They probably do it because it's trendy, or they think it's anti trendy.

MAGIC HAMBURGERS!

Why is it a thing

Who knows...

Maybe they just like eating burgers.

Every region of the country defends its favorite burger just like they defend their style of pizza making and eating.

L.A. people are ga-ga for In 'n' Out Burger, and Pink's Hot Dog Stand.

Is Barney's Beanery still around? That was all the rage when I was there 20+ years ago...

I have in-n-out near me. On occasion I'll stop in for a 'secret' menu 'protein style' burger. Which is basically cheeseburger without the bun. Their fries are nasty and milkshakes are meh. Protein style burgers all somewhat tasty and serve if you wish to lo-carb in a pinch. I wouldn't go very far out of my way.

Here's a fun fact - Because the company is owned by christians, they hide little printed bible verses on the inside bottom edge of their soft drink cups. Probably elsewhere too, not sure.

How darling!

Fuck them till they bleed in Hell.

Yeah, fuck that franchise, hope they all burn down by Easter.

I know I feel a tremendous urge to look up bible verses whilst I'm eating a burger!

Until recently,[when?] it was a trademark of In-N-Out to accommodate burger orders of any size by adding patties at an additional cost. A particularly famous incident involving a 100x100 (100 patties, 100 slices of cheese) occurred in 2004.[34]

Sounds like an amusing incident!
