The structure of this season is really weird. It's hard to care about the scenes in the present when we already know how things turn out. I guess the mystery is what happens to Oliver.
 
Emiko turning out to be a villain ALL ALONG feels like something they just decided to do for this episode. Like she was supposed to be a good guy but viewers didn't like her enough so they thought "fuck it, make her evil."
 
Yeah that was weird since that first scene with him was set maybe 15 to 20 years ago but he looked older than in season one seven years ago. They could have at least put some make-up on him.
 
So the heroic thing to do is knock out the bad guys then leave them in a building with a bomb.
 
Honestly I completely zone out on Oliver's stories now and can't remember anything that's happened in them. He feels like a guest character in his own show now.
 
Felicity's daughter is hot.
Felicity's friend is hot.
Felicity still talks too fast.

Don't care about Emiko.
 
When they were talking about Thea, Roy or Oliver should have pointed out that Emiko isn't actually her sister anyway (Malcolm is Thea's dad.)
 
Sky definitely cut that to shreds as one moment Emiko was fighting side by side with Oliver, the next she's dying and the two people they were fighting have disappeared. Not that I really cared about her.

So Oliver spends twenty years fighting in other dimensions or soething? Next season is going to be weird.
