Avengers: Infinity War

I hadn't realized it was possible to have a 2 minute long orgasm. And when I was spent we got the "Who are you guys?" reveal. :J:
 
I can only really see it being a mess with so many of your favourite characters having two minutes of screentime each, but I’m ready to be proven wrong.
 
Here's the fascinating thing about the Marvel movies (I was thinking of putting this in the Justice League thread, but it works here too): While they're formulaic, it's a formula that works VERY well. Back in the early days of "modern" theater, someone wrote a book on "The Well-Made Play," that presented a formula for churning out an entertaining play. And I remember Hitchcock saying things like "If you show us a gun in the first act, someone had better use it by the third act." If something happens in a Marvel movie, it happens for a reason. It's either setting something up for later in the movie "I can be your 'chair guy'!" or later in the film series. Wonder Woman is the only DCU film I've seen, but I get the feeling DC is just throwing stuff at the screen to see what sticks.

I have to say, without having seen the actual film yet, that the little scene with Spider's arm hairs raising up might be the best and most subtle depiction of Spider sense in the history of the films. Attention to detail is what makes a good movie, so I am happy about that.

That ain't spider sense. That's more like goosebumps. I liked spider sense being depicted as wavy lines emanating from Spidey's head.
 
Yeah but impossible to depict on film. If you see the scene again it's very subtle but pronounced. I liked it. Because spider sense would be essentially a very enhanced version of the heebie jeebies anyway...
 
That was one of my gripes with Spiderman: Homecoming--no Spidey Sense. Vulture just fires up his remote control wings without Spidey realizing it and then he doesn't realize it is chopping out roof supports. Spidey Sense should have been tingling.

On an unrelated note, I thought Vulture was the hero of that story. He was just trying to take care of his employees and provide nice things for his family.

When the hairs stand up on my arm its usually followed by the arrival of a purple headed monster as well....

In my pants.

This movie looks awesome already. I was so engrossed in the trailer I didn't even realize the guardians weren't featured until of course they showed them at the end of it. Which excited me all over again.

But not in the arm hair standing purple headed monster kind of way..

Okay, maybe a little.
 
a thing I do which I think is quirky but in actuality is insufferable is that I only refer to those two characters as "captain America's boyfriend" and "Bucky's boyfriend"
