BB23 premieres July 7th with live move-in

(BTW IF YOU'RE AMERICAN AND WATCHING BB AND READING THIS, SORRY FOR ALL THE SPOILERS SINCE THESE EVENTS WON'T BE ON THE TV SHOW UNTIL TONIGHT AND THEN WEDNESDAY LOL)

So we're into Day 61, with about 2 1/2 weeks left to the season. 8 of the 16 houseguests have been evicted, and there will be 2 double evictions this Thursday and next to narrow it down to 4.

In a historic first, because there are so many POC in the cast, a 6-person alliance of all black people called The Cookout has basically run the house all summer. Of the 8 evicted HGs, 7 have been white and 1 Asian (Derek X, easily the most beloved HG who will win the Fan Favorite prize at the finale).

Their mission has been to get the entire 6-person alliance to Final 6, and it may happen. But it's getting ugly in these latter weeks -- each of the alliance members chose another HG to be their sidekick/pawn to help secure more votes in each eviction. Now, there is a power struggle going on between Xavier and Tiffany, the only 2 left with pawns in the game.

But Tiff's pawn Claire will be evicted this Thursday, and since Tiffany is Head of Household this week, she can't play for the next HOH in the live double eviction. That is gonna be chaos. And if Alyssa wins HOH or veto, the Cookout will not make it to F6 intact. Which will be fine with Xavier since he and Kyland have been manipulative douches to the rest of the 6 all summer, and Xavier talks up the Cookout but would be just as happy going to F2 with Alyssa instead. So all this buildup all summer about this season "making history" may be a big dud. But a POC will be winning the season, so that much will be historic. Whee. Whoopie.
