CASSIE VERSUS THE HURRICANE THREAD

CaptainWacky

I want to smell dark matter
Cassie to put the hurricane in a BOSTON CRAB?

*Loads Cyndi Lauper hits into playlist*

I WILL FIGHT IRMA WITH MY FISTS!

BOOGIE SHOULD HUMP IRMA.

I told him you said that and he started panting.

IRMA IS STILL ON THE WAY :rwmad:

Srsly, it looks like it will pass right over me sometime Sunday.

You should stay on the internet constantly so we know you're okay.

I hope I still have the internet after Sunday. We're supposed to start having tropical storm force winds about 8am Sunday (I think that's about 1pm where you live). It should be past us by Monday afternoon. If I still have internet I will try to send you a dm on Twitter to let you know I'm alright. If you don't hear from me, don't worry I'm sure it's just a power outage.

Be safe, please.

We are thinking about evacuating now. I will let you know if we leave.

Go to New York and sleep with Eggs.

NOW WE'RE STAYING :rwmad:

lol

I don't know.

Do you board your windows up? Do you have a cellar? What do you do when you stay?

The windows are boarded up, but most people in Florida do not have cellars or basements because we are so close to the aquifer. The area I live in is very close which is why there are sinkholes.

We've got the gas cans filled up, the generators tuned up, several ice chests full of water, a huge tank full of water, charcoal, and canned food.

I WILL BE GLAD WHEN THIS SHIT IS OVER. :rwmad:

GIVE US AN UPDATE CASSIE.

It sounds exciting but I'm probably just romanticising the terrifying barrage of wind and flying cows due to the media.

I watched MSNBC for about 10 minutes. The reporter on the beach was chastising some locals for not taking it seriously enough. She didn't hear them when they explained they were passing through while evacuating north, and stopped for a minute to appreciate the multicolored sky above the ocean. She was kind of an annoying bitch to them.

STILL ALIVE!

The power could go out anytime today, so don't worry if I'm not online later. The wind gusts could knock trees down and that will knock power lines down. We're not expecting the tropical storm force winds until about 2pm eastern, but shit happens! The hurricane itself will not be here until about 2am.

I will check in as often as I can.

Also, remember that my internet sometimes goes out even with normal thunderstorms, so don't be surprised if my internet goes out early.
