Juice of two lemons
Equal parts vinegar of your choice. Malt vinegar is suggested.
1 Tbl of salt
1 Tbl. of pepper
2 Bay leaves
1/4 Tsp. of cloves
1/2 Cup of green onions. You can also use shallots.
I also added garlic, the recipe doesn't call for garlic though.
