Learned a really cool way to syncopate my drumming from the drum track in this song. Changed my whole perspective on playing drums. This is one of my favorite all time songs as a result.

I met Don Ho - reluctantly. My friend was a FAN! Insisted on meeting him after his show and insisted I stand in line with her and all the FANS. I was not a FAN. Then his handlers/bouncers/bodyguards insisted I come into his tiny dressing room along with my friend. I tried to get out of it. I told them I wasn't there to see him, just standing in line with my friend. They dragged me in. Don Ho made me have my picture taken with him and my friend the FAN. Never asked for a copy of the picture. Now, he's long dead. I'm still not a FAN.
