But Bowie made really good music in the 90s and 2000s right up till the end, when Blackstar was released the week he died.

Steel Wheels was a killer RS album, and tour. Voodoo Lounge in the mid 90s was pretty good. Jagger's 93 solo album Wandering Spirit was really good. I really liked Keith Richards' 88 solo work Talk Is Cheap.

Macca... well he's still out there plugging away like a kid having fun so more power to him.

Van Morrison was still doing interesting things into the early 2000s. But then he had to start yammering like a MAGA Brexiter racist goon, like Clapton. Sigh.

Of course my guy Elvis Costello is also still out there releasing albums and touring and that's just fine.
