EFCL old constitution.

So, who are you hiding behind as Gonad? Why can't you just post as who you are?

This is what I was talking about, Mandi. Some of the vultures here aren't happy being evil, petty little trolls. They can't get off until there's some necro thrown in, too.

:huh: Okay, who I may or may not be has very little to do with the threads I linked. I simply did a search on EFCL, and pulled up what seemed like relevant threads from the last (read: oldest) few pages of results. Then I finally got sick of it, and but wanted to put in a little about REFCL, since it is relevant. (sort of.)

Now, I didn't bother to really read the threads, so I don't know if I only pulled up a section that paints a particularly biased picture. Maybe it does, since Calli posted a lot at that point.

I suppose some of those old threads might get necro'd now that there's a newer link to them. Does it matter? It's all dead and over anyways.

You see, Mandi; EFCL, ExIsle, TK, it's all about drama and that is all it will ever be about.

I'm just asking because you're obviously old enough to know the history, but your using this name that was registered a few weeks ago. Why cover up?
 
You may choose to believe I am a dual. If you are open to the possibility that I am not a dual, you may find the following paragraph an acceptable explanation:

I started lurking here in March 2005. I'm a sucker for soap operas. Everything I know about EFCL I learned here without really researching at all. (the search I did for Mandi was the first time I actively looked up anything about EFCL) I know the following:

1) EFCL is one of many spinoffs of Trekbbs.
a) this spinoff involved much drama [conjecture]
b) EFCL itself is mired in drama due to its foundations in drama [conjecture]
2) Many posters here have or have had an interest in EFCL
3) EFCL collasped
a) because of all the board politics [conjecture]
b) and the overly complicated rules system, much like what ExIsle has in place today [partial conjecture]
4) some EFCL posters wanted to continue the tradition of EFCL, and REFCL was created shortly before or shortly after the collapse of EFCL [conjecture]
5) REFCL is a spin off of a spin off, and is kind of dead [conjecture]

It was easy to browse through old threads, skimming for mention of EFCL and the length of the posts to see if it was about EFCL politics. Most threads about other boards' politics contain a lot of lengthy posts with moderate-sized paragraphs. Easy.

I might be incorrect, or I might be correct. Or I might be a clever dual. Or a stupid dual. Who cares? It's TK!

and yes, I promised not to get involved, but even I can't resist kicking this rotting horse a few times. Your conjectures are fundamentally flawed, if not vague, because infact, there were several different versions of EFCL. That's not a conceit, either. There literally, were more than one boards called EFCL, or some variation of the name, and I don't just mean EFCL and REFCL. A lot of what you say is true for one or two of them, but as a whole, EFCL was a lot more than the minor points, or anything else we could expound about now, after the moment is gone. Its easier to just say EFCL was many things to many people, and leave it at that. It was bigger than any one person and their individual experiences.

You don't need my opinion. Direct your question directly to the Senior Administrator of TrekBBS, T'Bonz, who just happens to be a semi-active member here as well. She can speak for herself.
