Eggs, what's your fave Elvis Costello song?

"I wanna bite the hand that feeds me, I wanna bite that hand so badly, I wanna make them wish they'd never, chained me!"

He wasn't too happy with the record company or the plight of American radio back in '77... :D

Well you know that afternoon before the show he was arrested for setting up his amp and guitar outside of Columbia records (I think it was them) and playing all his songs as an audition. They wouldn't let him in the building,so he set up on the street and started belting out "Alison" and "Red Shoes" and was arrested for about an hour. The record company bailed him out, he went on TV that night, and they signed him to a three record deal that Monday. All in all a nice intro for Declan :D

Holy shit. Talk about Sophie's Choice! And there's only about 300 to choose from. :scared:

All is therefore well. Carry on.

In honor of his birthday, and in case we get another Bush in the White House:

At least Thatcher died without a corral of genetic replacements...

(It's a UK only vinyl collection of B Sides)

I'm so cool every time I go to work in the east end of London they all go WOOOAH WHO IS THE DUUUDDDE?

Yup! It's basically the UK version of Taking Liberties here is the US. Released between Get Happy!!! and Trust.

All the tracks have been spread out over bonus discs of his earlier albums in the Rykodisc and Rhino reissues.

I swear I thnk I have bought his entire early catalog 4 times over.

BUT I DID BUY THIS UK COMPILATION ALBUM. BECAUSE THERE NEVER WAS AN EQUIVALENT US RELEASE (since it was on Demon Records).
